D.S Rane completed G.D.Art, from J.J.School of Art & Raheja School of Art in 1977; A.M, Mumbai in 1979. He has won the award from Art Society of India in 1989; 1st Prize Artists Centre, Mumbai in 1989 and Mumbai Art Society in 1991.
